3-Way Calling
Whenever you need to talk to two people at once, 3-Way Calling is the smart solution. In an instant, you can add a third party to your line, saving you from making separate calls. This is a great feature for planning events or enhancing business communications.
Anonymous Call Rejection (*77)
This feature is used in conjunction with Caller ID. Also known as 'Block The Blocker', it blocks private or anonymous callers from ringing your line.
Call Forwarding (72#)
This handy feature is a 'must' for anyone who needs to stay in touch while on the go! Let your important calls follow you for a change - with Call Forwarding from DFT Communications. You aren't tied to your home or office telephone anymore, because Call Forwarding lets you 'forward' all of your calls to any touch tone telephone, anywhere, anytime.
Call Forwarding/Busy
Great for computer users, this feature allows you to send your calls to another number (such as a voice mailbox) without disturbing your modem connection.
Call Forwarding/Don't Answer
With Call Forwarding/Don't Answer, all of your calls are automatically sent to another number after a preset number of rings.
Call Return (*69)
This handy and widely popular feature makes it possible to find out the number of the last person to call your phone, returning a call to the last dialer. If you miss a ringing telephone- relax! Just dial *69 and, if it is known, you will immediately be told the last caller's number and be given the option (by pressing 1) to call them back. Call Return may be added to your phone service for one flat monthly rate of simply accessed on a per use basis by dialing *69.
Call Trace (*57)
The serious issue of nuisance or obscene phone calls can now be dealt with swiftly by using our Call Trace feature. Simply dial *57 and, if the number is known, the number of the caller will be recorded at our central office. If you wish to pursue legal action, this number can be provided to the proper authorities with your written permission.
Call Waiting
Call Waiting is easily our most popular calling feature, because it answers the age old problem of how to answer a second incoming call without hanging up on the first one. Call Waiting is very easy to use and absolutely indispensable for those of us who are on the phone a great deal. For home or business, Call Waiting is a 'must have' service.
Call Waiting with Cancel Call Waiting (*70)
Cancel Call Waiting lets you speak uninterrupted during important calls simply by pressing *70. It also allows you to send faxes or use your computer modem without your transmission being interrupted.
Call Waiting with Caller ID & Cancel Call Waiting
Receive Calling Name and Number Identification for a new incoming call while on an existing call (provided the calling party has not activated a call blocking option). You can also cancel Call Waiting on a call-by-call basis which can be done before you place the call or during a call.
Caller ID - Calling Number/Name
A very popular feature that shows you who is calling before you answer your phone. Requires rental or purchase of a display telephone or add-on display unit.
Distinctive Ringing
With Distinctive Ringing, a secondary telephone number with its own ring tone for different family members is added to your existing line. This feature is perfect for families who get a lot of calls. When the phone rings, you'll know right away if it's for you or another call for the kids! You can even have a separate listing in the phone book at no extra charge. Businesses can set up Distinctive Ringing numbers to send calls directly to a fax machine.
Distinctive Ringing/Call Waiting (*61)
When someone on your list calls you, you will be notified by a special ring to let you know it is an important caller.
Do Not Disturb With Override Code
By simply defining a time period in which you would like to restrict incoming calls, you can stop late night calls from waking you up. This feature will allow callers to use an override code (provided by you) which allows their calls to connect to you.
Long Distance Call Restriction
This restriction blocks the ability to dial '1' or '0' to place long distance or operator assisted calls. You will still be able to dial locally to Toll Free numbers and to dial '911'.
Number Redial (*66)
Tired of getting busy signals? Let Number Redial keep calling the number for you until the line becomes free. Your phone will give a special ring when the person you are trying to reach has ended their call, and when you pick up the phone you will be connected.
On Demand Conference
Conference calling is becoming more popular, due in part, to high costs and inconvenience of business travel. Find out how cost-effective and efficient conference calling can be for your business.
Per Call Blocking (*67)
Dialing *67 before any call means your name and number will be blocked from being displayed on a Caller ID device.
Personal Billing
Perfect for off-campus college students who are sharing an apartment. Personal Billing allows subscribers up to four individual bills for long distance, while sharing a designated phone line.
Prepay/Budget Toll
Now your can limit your monthly long distance bill. Simply set a limit of how much you want to spend on long distance and the Prepay/Budget Toll system will limit your calling to that number of minutes. Easy to use! No monthly phone bill surprises!
Selective Call Acceptance (*64)
When someone NOT on your list tries to call you, they will be notified you are not accepting calls from them.
Selective Call Forwarding (*63)
When someone on your list tries to call you they will be forwarded to another number.
Selective Call Rejection (*60)
With this feature, when someone on your list tries to call you, they will be notified your are not accepting calls from them.
Speed Calling
By simply punching in one or two numbers, you can reach frequently dialed numbers in an instant. No more misdialed or forgotten numbers. With Speed Calling, local and long distance calls are a touch away in an 8 or 30 number capacity.
Wake Up Service
This feature provides you with reliable hotel style wake up/reminder calls at any time you desire. Wake Up Service is reliable and easy to use, from your home or your office.
