Over this past holiday season, the employees, families, and friends of DFT Communications conducted the annual holiday “Bundle Up For The Holidays” campaign. This program is a part of an ongoing commitment of giving back to the community. Donations of hats, mittens, gloves, scarves, socks and blankets and other items were used to decorate a Christmas tree inside the lobby of The Netsync Store located at 38 Temple Street, Fredonia beginning the day after Thanksgiving and running through Monday, December 14^th.   Through the generosity of so many wonderful people, the annual giving tree continues to be a great success!

 

“We at DFT are very proud of our commitment to this annual community service project. Our employees, customers, and neighbors are very generous. Many have donated items to keep those in need warm during the cold weather months for many years now.  It warms our hearts to know that we can reach out and help some of their needs through this project. We will remain committed to this project for many years to come”, states Dan Siracuse, Marketing & Public Relations Manager with DFT Communications.  “This is just one of the many community service projects DFT remains  committed to participating in during the year”.

 

During this time, the tree was brightly decorated with warm weather donations from DFT Communications employees and families as well as customers, several neighboring residents and some local businesses.  All of the items collected were presented to Rural Ministry who then distributed the items to families in need to help keep them warmer during this winter season.

 

Kathleen Peterson, Executive Director of Chautauqua County Rural Ministry also stated, “For many years, the employees and customers of DFT have provided winter warmth to local children and their families.  Over this time, it has gone from hats and mittens, to blankets, socks, footies and scarves.  The generosity of all involved keeps those less fortunate warm in Northern Chautauqua County”.
